My suite was tastefully decorated and very well kept. The location of the hotel was central, close to the Medici Chapel, supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops, leather bags and apparel stores, laundry service shop, and Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the leather market. I enjoyed Il Cantone del Guelfo, nestled 5 minutes away on foot...

The hotel was in an excellent location, just minutes walk from tourist attractions, great restaurants, train station and shops. The staff was exceptional, very helpful right from the minute we set foot in the door, with everything, from suggestions to great food, shopping, and even attraction locations and local events. Not to mention the price was very fair. I highly suggest Hotel Ester for anyone who's looking for a wonderful experience in Florence. The knowledgeable owner was even helpful in suggesting scenic spots in the Tuscan region.

The hotel's central location near the Catholic church, train station, main historical buildings, San Lorenzo market, and all tourist attractions makes it very convenient. The rooms are well-equipped and well-kept. Guests can enjoy the Situation Pub nearby as a great place to chill out.

The room was much nicer than we'd expected, and the location was very good.

There were only two showers near our room and one toilet, which was a bit annoying. It wasn't a big deal, but sometimes having to wait was less than ideal.

the staff were friendly, has a kitchen , free wifi, good location.. there's 2 bathrooms for sharing among 7 rooms I think.. but it's very comfortable overall , I recommend it!

The rooms are clean with wonderful views, and the hotel is conveniently located next to a train station.

Very helpful staff and comfortable room in the prime location only a min from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the duomo.

I greatly enjoyed every detail about my incredible 2 nights stay here. the staff were accommodating and marvellous. - the location is incredible, being close to the Catholic church. - the hotel is new-fashioned, neat, and well-maintained.

We stayed only 1 night, The location is perfect, 2 min walk from the main train station. Big room, clean enough....

Shared bathroom, very old furnitures, no wi-fi connection from the room, reception was in the other building,

they didn't change my towels for three days, bed sheets neither. the room smelt a bit musty maybe because the air conditioner was not clean I think. I even could not open the window because it was all rainy during my stay. (well, that's not the hotel's fault) The worst is the reception. neither friendly nor kind. one of them even cut off my words, not in friendly way such as helping me but that of offending me, I got the feeling that she couldn't bear my english any more. (Remember. you should speak english or italian VERY fluently in front of this hotel's reception)
